Word that's what they use, load plan said 1097 miles followed their directions and my odometer read 1180 and never went more then 1/4 mile off road to truck stop.

I have gotten plenty of loads where it might say 500 miles and I drive 550....or 1100 and it turns to 1200, its just the way it is. I also have gotten loads where it might say 500 miles but I actually drive 450....these are just examples not exactly.

Joined a dedicated almost a month ago and most of the places I deliver to are less miles than im getting paid so its averaging out.

If you take the time to plan your route properly, you will find they are close to the same. I have found I run really close or less in a lot of cases. Your not getting screwed out of much . Keep track.

lol dont worry you'll see immediatly the miles your gonna get screwed out of when they send you a load stating 690 miles...give you routing for 742 and then you go punch it into your commercial gps and with shortest distance setting it comes up with 769 miles:biggrin_25516:

Actually not screwed at all, drivers are paid more because company's know the miles are off, if drivers were paid off the odometer they would be paid less per mile, either way their check would be the same at the end of the week.

Worried about how many miles you are getting screwed out of already? Wait till you are sitting at a food warehouse and see how much waiting time you get screwed out of or not paid for !
