Distracted Driver

Nothing to those Scions. Thought about getting one for the wife. Unfortunately any wreck you have with one according to the NHTSA (National Highway Trransportation Safety Administration) listed their safety as black or nonsurvivable.

Wonder how long till the driver shows up here saying what ever company dropped their sorry tail for answering the phone............

I always wonder how they get those shots. I run a dash cam but heck all I get is the side of their truck.

 

Interior camera verified the driver's behavior prior to the MVA. I know you guys with the pimply butts and flatulence problems don't like the camera on you (or whatever else you expose to the behind the wheel cameras) but in this instance, maybe you can stretch your understanding to the family of the deceased and be thankful that one, this driver's career is over and two, justice may be served.

63 mph 8 seconds of eye contact with stupid house app on phone. = minus 6 seconds forever lost that could have been used to make the stop.

I have always said trucking is piles of routine and boredom waiting for that 6 seconds of do something right now.
