Do not work for knight transportation!!!

Yeah, well it is their company. And they may be able to do what they want, but they #### sure ain't gonna do it to me!

 

Don't go to Knight, because you washed out and they did not hire you?

Even with all of DNA's embellishments of the facts, he has given people more of a reason not to drive a Knight truck, then this.

Where are the embellishments? Show me the embellishments. There are none. I just call out a dumpy company when I see it and apparently I'm not the only one.

Okay you got me Blue. Orientation is held Monday through Wednesday at every single terminal. Care to take a stab at why this is the case?

You guys should get together at the nearest Flying Joke and settle your differences over a hot delicious breakfast served with a splendid cup of coffee at the Dennyz! I can join the fun, but only if Dennyz will allow me to smuggle in a flask for a small bribe.

 

Knight orientation is tuesdays through thursday, friday you get your truck assigned to you and dispatched, if you make it. Knighton5 , I was in slc on wedensday,I think I saw you in the office under the dm desk, where you looking for your knight bonus for, biggest supporter of the year. I still think your a knight in real life. Reason not to work for knight, lets see/ 1- your pay is always wrong, 2- what trailers they have are junks the 60 61 62 series.3- they dont have enough trailers to cover loads-4- they want you to drive forever to find one.5- they dont pay detention to you if they cant collect from the reciever.6- the tell you to drive on flat tires to the nearest 49er or speedco location.7- they wont replace tires unless the cap is coming off.8-- they lie about pu and delivery times to get you their earlier than your suppose to be there.9-they only pay $50 for the whole 3 day orientation.-10--they charge you $65 is you need to drop a load in the yard, I have about 100 more if you need any. I am an 0/0 knighton5, way before you bought one of the junk volvos from knight. I still dont know your truck number is it 127071

 

Been w/ Knight, I am still w/ f**king Knight don't ask why i guess cause I have a family to feed and have to stick it out. Was being pay hourly up till last year now I'm being paid by loads; empties; and moves,sometimes stuck in ports for hours and get NOTHING for my time and then I still have to go home late to the ole' lady and hear her ##### about them burning me. This all tke place here in sunny ole' California it's all a big ole game to these young dispatchers and they too were drivers. some of them will help out but u #### near have to beg to get this help, driving containers is no joke unless ur illegal~ matter of fact they're doing it for half the price so how do I compete? Looking to move to a better company to at least keep the kids plates on the table, 1200.00 rent for a two bedrm w/ no garage along w/ bill , insureance, food etc.. I guess i can only hang on for as long as i can till something better comes along. Looking into IWX heard some gd things so if any of u out had some negitive about IWX let me know. To the point I personally would not recommend Knight to my worst enemy!!!!

 

Why do people who are good with Knight have to call the people against Knight names? In the negative postings, everything I have read is EXACTLY what my husband experienced in his short-lived 6 weeks of working for Knight. My only regret was he was in orientation before I found this site..oh, you get paid for orientation? Yeah sure, and you get gas money for driving yourself there. Never got either. They had him running around picking up trailers, only to give them to someone else. Promised 2500-3000 miles a week, he AVERAGED 2100. One week he got 645 miles, are you kidding me? Forget about paying bills, that doesn't let you eat. He asked to be home Apr 30, oh sure..no problem. April 27 they sent him to MO, spent 2.5 weeks running MO, TN, IN, WI, all the while saying oh there's nothing coming back this way. BS!! He finally made it home May 10. He had one load he picked up AT the terminal in Olive branch only to drop it less than 50 miles away. It was already late when he got it, apparently the previous driver drove to the yard and left it, truck, trailer and load. Took them 3 days to figure out it was there. Pulled him off somthing else to take this piddly run. They called his cell phone incessantly. I had to up the plan minutes so he didn't run over. He gave it his best shot because he is a good driver and a go getter, and never says quit. But after a point, you have to say WTF? I cant do this anymore. Not to mention he did not get home ONCE in 6 weeks.. oh and the perdiem is a joke.

anyway Nuff said, Knight will not do what they promise you in orientation...including paying you for orientation. One more thing, their payroll info system is a joke, that never worked one time.

These are facts, not hearsay, not embellishments.
