well I am sure the OTR drivers earn their money. Me, I bust my butt for 14 or 16 hours sometimes for my paycheck and I don't get a quarterly bonus because I am local. My DM and I feel that needs to change because city driving is different from highway driving. Either way free money earned or not, it is an incentive for drivers to strive for better and help save money and ware and tare on the equipment. APU's would help even more but they have their reasons for not doing that one. I don't think it is a good one.

The way they keep changing the fuel mileage program, you sure as hell earn that one.

Just don't let the wife know that "free money" is actually just a small percentage of the money you've been ripped off. There's a reason why Knight is a training company and when you figure out why you'll be gone.

Well i have been here with Knight now for a year and so far have not had the opportunity of being "Ripped Off" like you say. So tell me how they are going to do this to me please. I need the humor. Don't say you don't get paid the right amount of miles please. I have my mileage for each load and most of the time my routing i do actually is shorter then their suggested routing. So please humor me with your disgruntled views please.

I look at the positives and so far there are far more positives then negatives here. Especially the Miles i get. 2800 - 3500 is not too shabby for miles each week.

Fascinating that you don't lose 2 or 3 days a month chasing mt trailers and waiting on service. You have never gone to pick up loads that weren't there? You don't live unload "for an mt?" That's great if you don't. I thought it was just me until I came here to TR and found it was the majority. Knights a driving force in the lowering of wages. Keep on keeping on though.

Positives vs negatives...well I spent 5 hours live unloading for an mt BUT I gotta bed to sleep in tonight. Hey you said to humor you....

Hey Dna, maybe Knight has changed since you and I were there. Or maybe these kids just haven't figured things out yet.
For their sake, I guess we can hope it has changed. . .:biggrin_25513:

I don't know about you, but I'd rather be "disgruntled," than "gruntled." Whatever the heck that is. . .:biggrin_25523:
