If you start getting too aggressive something ugly will happen.
You still have to let the idiots go all the live long or it will turn out badly.
The only jag off I ran down in the last few years was in a Prius last summer. Probably seen a thousand Cascadia's, but also I'm sure I was the first one he ran into that would do batter than 90.
The genuine look of fear on the two women's faces when he could not get by me.........whoa Dave, Jesus gonna ask you about this someday.
Bad drivers that are A holes, are just like the rest of the A holes in day to day life, just gotta let 'em go.
Do you really need to pass?

You really know your roads and routes around this great country friend! I will have to make a video in some far off place to try to stump you on the location....
-
And you probably will stump me real easy.scottied67 Thanks this.
-
Short answer ....nope it isn't....in another thread I said that patience is always the biggest equalizer.......in this case I'd say it would be true too..... -
If your Truck is Governed at 68 on the cruise and 70 on the pedal why wouldn't you run it at 66 to avoid the snail race and temper tantrums?Lepton1 Thanks this.

DId you not watch the video? The guy was behind me for miles and miles then decided to do the 5 mile pass on me. Then he decided to play the 'teach me a lesson' game. So I did slow down in the end and let him get on down the road with ample following distance and resumed my 68 that I was doing before this idiot slowed me down for no reason.Last edited: Dec 7, 2016

There's another way to look at it. He was faster than you, however slight. He bided his time, waiting to initiate a long pass holding up the least amount of traffic possible. Instead of backing off the throttle to help him efficiently complete the pass and get out of the hammer lane you chose to stay at your governed speed, then give us all the verbal "shock face" that he came over and took the space you for some reason refused to give up.
Then you pulled a bad move and tried to make another multi mile pass at 70 mph and he rightfully shut the door on that silliness. You posted the end result with him disappearing up ahead and then claim to be making money from eyeballs on your videos. I'm done watching your videos. -
You won't be stumped as long as they're pictures of buttes, right?

The original poster is talking about drivers who really have this pressing need to pass mentally but physically, their trucks are incapable of doing so, certainly not without taking 5 miles to do so unless the person they are passing slows down.
I think people get confused by the audio of my videos, swayed by the words which are for entertainment mostly. If you go back and watch the video with the audio muted you will see what you want to see without distraction. You will observe I indeed slow down for this passing trucke *hence his disappearing up ahead' as you say.
I explained I'm not going to slow down for every tom dick and harry who wants to pass who may or may not be able to maintain faster that I was going already. It is a bad habit to get into because as soon as i slow down, here comes more trucks trying to make a pass and for each one I have to slow down further. pretty soon I'm going slower than I was going in the first place. For what? to be courteous to the discourteous truckers out there?Klleetrucking Thanks this.
