Saw a mega company driver in OH once carrying a 12pack of budweiser to his cab. He closed his curtains and I did'nt care as long as he stayed there...
As far as reporting speeding and all other bad behavior I'll do it but only when all 4wheelers have 800-reportme bumper stickers on them.
To just report on fellow truckers - no wayJeck and QuietStorm Thank this. -
Normally I don't, but I have once and only once. Three years ago on I 80 in PA en route to New Jersey, I saw some old, crappy Freightliner hauling an even crappier dry van doing at least 100 mph pass me... at first I was like eh whatever, maybe nature is calling... 2 hours later I see him again, STILL doing 100! I didn't see a company name on his truck, but I saw he had Illinois plates on his trailer so I alerted the proper authorities. I never saw him pulled over so I never got the closure in knowing he got in trouble for his recklessness. But I'm glad I called him in, that kind of unprofessional behavior is verboten, especially in a CMV... other than that I could care less how others drive. Much less stressful not to worry about the other knuckleheads on the road.

There's a reason why they're a Bad Driver......because no one reports them.
The Bad Driver someone doesn't report, may be the same driver who plows into the back of a family's car in a construction zone.Tonythetruckerdude, LGarrison, Bean Jr. and 1 other person Thank this. -

Yep, I sure will. I make no bones about it. Do something dangerous and if I can get video that has your truck number and trailer number on it I WILL EMAIL THE VIDEO TO THAT DRIVERS SAFETY DEPT with a time, date and location as part of the email topic. Now I won't elaborate further but I do draw a difference between dangerous and stupid acts. A stupid act will most times just get a snide comment from me and then dropped. Do a dangerous act and I will report you.
I was at a business in Norfolk last week talking to one of the supervisors when an OTR driver almost caused a 3 vehicle accident simply because he was too occupied on his smartphone to watch where he was going. I think the business is going to send video to this drivers safety dept along with my contact info because I actually saw him texting. I get no pleasure out of doing this but I am past being sick and tired of all the crap I am seeing today.JReding and crazybread Thank this. -
