    Land cost is probably cheaper away from the interstate. That's my theory anyway! LOL

    When Walmart originally came to Stockton, the city gave them the land tax free for 10 years. After 10 years, Walmart closed up shop and built a new store across the road. It took more than a decade before they got permission to build another store on the other side of the city.
