You had to pay them back . . . . what?
-
It's was only 80 bucks
-
You had to pay the Company $80. Hmm. I'm not sure why, but if a ticket was not issued by a LEO, then I don't think it will show on your CDL. Your DAC, if the company subscribes to it - may enter it on there.
-
Oh wait - lightbulb went off.
Is this a red light camera ticket? -
Red light tickets are not legal. That is just dumb
-
Yea red light
-
OK. Well, in that case the ticket went to the registered owner, they paid it, now they're looking for the driver. You can request a copy of the ticket from the company and match it to your logs for that time and see who was on driving duty then. . . .
drivinman Thanks this. -
Red Light Camera violations go against the owner of the Vehicle /Company. The Fine is paid by the company, the company charges the driver for the violations.... Call your Safety! It will go on your employment record at the company and it will most likely wind up on your DAC unless you can prove you weren't the driver. It probably won't show up on the CSA,PSP, or MVR. The DAC reports both non-reportable incidents and preventables.

If you have elogs, I would go back and see who the active driver was... There is no contesting that.
