I'll second that but the hardest hit I've taken in awhile was when my driver side window switch went out. Now the first day I seemed to remember backing into the dock at B+G. After the second day though:biggrin_2551:

Those windows are pretty stout by the way.:biggrin_2552: I'll tell ya those bad habits will kill you if you ain't careful :biggrin_2552:

    To quote Homer.....

    DOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

The Pilot over in Dickson has a really bad exit that you have to almost get up on the track to see traffic. I keep waiting for someone to get hammered there.

Sometimes the terminals might not have any empty trailers for the driver to take out to go get their next load so are dispatched bobtail to go to a location to get the empty for the swap.
Other times for instance a driver might be stuck in a no freight zone for several days and they will take pity on the company driver and allow them to make a quick run down to Walmart to stock up.

That's gross lol. Reminds me of when a friend got really drunk once. He's in the back seat, pukes in a Big Gulp cup, then decides to throw it out the window. Only problem was the window was rolled up. Needless to say it was a very long last hour of the trip for the rest of us in the car.

I hope that happens to every driver who decides to throw a piss bottle out the window!

That train accident just happened in FL a day or two ago. I guess no one was hurt though. Driver was forced to stop on the tracks due to traffic. Guess he miscalculated the distance of the open space.

It all boils down to being in a hurry. Had that driver just waited until the cars in front of him cleared he would have been fine. Now he is out of a job and won't be driving a truck for quite some time. Can you say "PREVENTABLE"!!!

You really think a company is going to keep a driver after they destroy a trailer and the freight in it after a smart move like that?
