They now check 30-minute breaks to a second during audits. Check your past logs, some logbook providers updated their apps and gifted some post-factum logbook violations.

If there is any device on the market that allows a driver to complete their mandated 30-minute rest break before all 1800 seconds have elapsed, that was done either intentionally or negligently.

I tried swimming after only a 29 minute break once. No violation given but the DOT were in the pool looking for drivers urinating while supposedly off duty.
