DOT TEST BEFORE SCHOOL

Why would you fail a physical? Half of the drivers are walking corpses to begin with and they all passed. I had blood in my piss and still got the full 2 years

 

The CDL school/company that hires you will tell you where to go for the drug test. Usually its at a concerta or something similar.

You can also get a physical at a chiropractor that offers DOT physicals. If youre really worried, I would go there. Theyre much faster and way less thorough.

 

The DOT physical is the same everywhere, the examiner is different. The examination can be as cheap as $50 and as much as $200.

The DOT drug test is not part of it, you can do it any time at different locations, Concentra is a common place for it but the worst. I think the cost there is $80-$110, while some places charge less than $60.

Most places like CVS and your local doc can not do a legal DOT drug test. Concentra can.

 

Trucking schools are drug testing you because liability when you get out on the road with their truck. You'll need a physical, and to obtain a permit.

 

The school will ask for your medical certificate form MCSA-5876 and permit before classes start. I would think most schools would require a drug test but may accept a recent drug test from a company if you are already working for someone. An example of this would be a dock to driver training program.

Well, crap, that sucks. I guess now nurse good body will just have to take my word for it. Of course, I suppose it’s only fair. I just wish they would’ve changed it in the other direction… where we both had to be naked.

Negative. Were I went you were given 10 weeks to get your physical done while in class. Then once you did that an obtained a CDL permit, you were drug tested ON SITE to clear you to begin maneuvers, and road driving with instructor. School: New England Tractor Trailer Training School.
