I made 2 trips up there and they were nowhere to be seen thankfully. I'm pretty sure only one of my trips was close to legal!

I delivered near buffalo ny the other day and went home....there were so many dot cops and troopers running around I thought I was back in California....
Skate-Board Thanks this. -
Madison was so full today that they shut the scale down right before I came through.
When I passed westbound at about 7am they already had a bunch of trucks out back with there hoods up, mostly flatbeds and hot shots. -
I've been sleeping in the rest stops on the 20, east and west, for years.. I avoid truckstops hate them, and have never been even looked at by the dot or cops??
-
I've only ever heard of them bothering car haulers and over size - both of which I used to do. That said, I've never been bothered in a rest area on the 20, but I know it's happened.
I'm just running back and forth between Hfx and Moncton these days, so I don't know if it still goes on or not.
...... and speaking of that, the east bound Fort Lawrence scale house is in full 24 / 7 blitz mode. I run by it west bound then thru it east bound between 11pm and 2 am nightly. They were full tilt last night in the rain and cold. -
Everything as usual in Indiana and Chicago, saw maybe five STs the whole day. Guess the Beloit scale was open in Wisconsin. But I didn't see since I didn't feel like running the interstate...
In the Illinois truck enforcement pull off there were two trucks, a parked flatbed and a car hauler who was off loading cars.. weird.
