I see that TA offers dpf cleaning either flushing or bake. Which option is better and why?

Diesel Force Comprehensive Maintenance System. This will get your entire system clean, not just the filters. I had this done 200k miles ago and have been extremely happy with it. Got 635k on my ISX and have had very few issue with DPF system.

There’s a place out here in Fontana area that uses a secret “Dip” that works better than baking. I tried it and notice that my gauge was showing less back pressure on a hard pull, which means it’s more free flowing. Bottom line..... it’s cleaner than baking.

No, that's the fuel Catalyst I use from Pittsburgh Power. The Diesel force cleaning is a foam cleaner that goes through the motor then the filters. There are some good YouTube videos on it.

I was doing dpf cleaning yesterday. Took of DPF's from EPA10 DD15. Cleaned it by hot water(45psi pressure). One of DPF's is cracked but owner will reuse it. He will have no problems. Soot is not passing beyond of DPFs.

I have done it more than 10x . Hot water perfectly cleans it. After cleaning I have checked them by rod to see how deep rod goes into dpf...

    spsauerland Thanks this.
