Why don't you thank the company for providing you a truck that will have less down time?

It wasn’t a partial delete. All that program did was let the truck run with a faulty def level/def quality sensor. You’d still have to make sure the def tank was full because if it ran out then the other sensors down the line would derate the truck. The whole reason that sensor was an issue was because when it failed it dropped the def level to empty and the computer would freak out.

Def quality sensor will detect impurities and eventually go to limp mode. Def I believe is a certain ratio of pure urea and deionized water.

    201 and homeskillet Thank this.

Who’s going into limp mode, him or the truck?

You're right. A lot of people get "urine" and "urea" mixed up. They're not interchangeable with each other.

    Tb0n3 and 201 Thank this.

All that would happen is a def quality fault. They’d drain the tank and refill it. I doubt anyone on the planet would be able to urinate at the same rate that the vehicle consumes def, if someone did try it and they had to drain the tank it probably wouldn’t even look discolored from the urine. If you urinated into a 5 gallon bucket of water the water wouldn’t discolor instantly.

Exactly #### right. Why are you worried about POS that will get you stranded. It's just a question of when, not if.

    D.Tibbitt Thanks this.
