We are a small family owned company located in the Knoxville TN. area looking for 1 driver for our 2020 Freightliner Coronado SD 122 tractor. Tractor has a DD 15 Detroit engine set at 505 HP and a 13 speed manual transmission with double bunk high rise sleeper. It is equipped with a refrigerator, 3000 watt pure sine wave inverter, TV mount, bunk heater, Thermo King APU, heated seats, XM radio. Truck is equipped with an outward facing Dash Cam that is required to be on at all times. We DO NOT have an inward dash cam. I would not work for a company that has one and I wouldn’t expect you to. If we need to monitor you that closely, you are not the driver we are looking for.

Looking for someone who is responsible, clean, and understands that the truck needs to be maintained and will notify us of any issues so they can be addressed. Average weeks are 2500 to 2800 miles If you want more miles we will work to get you more miles.

Requirements:

Must be minimum 23 years old
2 years minimum experience dry van or refer
No more than 1 moving violation in 2 years
No at fault accidents in the last 3 years
No failed drug test or revocations in 5 years
Must be able to drive a standard transmission (13 Speed)
Must have excellent communication skills
Prefer some one who can do a minimum of 3 weeks out. Days off negotiable
Complete daily pre and post trip inspections
Excellent trip planning and communication skills

We offer :

Passenger allowed with advance notice
Detention @ 15.00 hr. after 2 hrs.
Some drop and hook freight
1 week vacation after 1 year
Extra stop pay is 25.00
Fuel Bonus
Pets considered on an individual basis.1 dog or 1 cat should not be an issue.
4 dogs 7 cats and a goat on the other hand isn't going to work!
Clean DOT inspection 100.00

Sorry that was not on purpose. Pay is 65 cents a mile 1099 or 60 cents a mile W2. There us also a fuel bonus of 2 cents a mile.

 

At this point we would be doing dry van freight. We do have reefer trailers but they are parked until the rates come up. You should be able to run 48 States
Pay is 60 cents a mile W2 or 65 cents a mile 1099
The truck will do 75mph

 

I would consider that. Certainly open to discussing it. I am on a tight run today. Driving thru New England my phone is on and if you call and I don't answer I will call you back as soon as it is safe to do so.
