Agreed - on the entirely false premise of 'real fight'.

Yes I agree, Mcgregor would not have been saved by a referee in a real fight with Mayweather lol

Agreed. Someone mentioned 'staying in shape.' There's a huge difference between staying in shape and staying in fighting shape. Yes, you can do your conditioning and cardio anywhere, but in order to get into fighting shape, you have to spar and spar often. Spar with one of those guys that are dedicated fighters ( whose full time job is fighting), and you find out that the guy can hand you your arse at any moment he chooses, or hurt you really really bad.

If you want to stay in shape, there's no better way than boxing. If you want to fight and drive a truck, stick with the "Bad Man/Tough Guy" tourneys...

    ...OR...

...join the underground bare knuckle world. Just remember what happened to Kimbo Slice when he got in with real top level talent.

This is good feedback. Is it possible to get training to drive local or do companies only train for otr? I don't have the cdl yet. I'm studying now. I'm open to driving local or otr. Whichever one will be the best option for having time to train or box.

I been trying to figure how to get the cdl and to drive without doing otr or company training for otr.

Did you know? That scene was unscripted. Harrison had the flu when that scene was filmed and did not have the energy to perform it as scripted. So, he pulled the prop gun and shot the swordsman. The rest is film history. Who did not laugh the first time they saw that scene?

In a street fight Macgregor would have ended that fight in less then two minutes tops. For example if I see someone in a boxers stance with most his weight on the front leg be prepared for a lot of roundhouse kicks to it then i'll come up high to the head and it would be a wrap or I'd just take it to the ground either way a boxer has very little chance against a mma guy.Just look at when James Toney stepped inside the octagon against Randy couture it was embarrassing dude had no clue what to do on the ground.

Arguably even the #1 best MMA fighter of all time, Bruce Lee, said boxers were the fighters he had the most trouble with.
Here is a short video of a boxer up against Bruce Lee's trainer, as you can see it was a draw lol

Should not be a problem. You will be fighting with dispatchers. If you go with a mega you will be boxing with box planners. You will fighting with other truckers for parking. You will be fighting at receivers to get unloaded. You will fight with shippers to get loaded. You will fight with elogs to get there on time. Last but not least you will fight with the weather.
