Dry van running all 48?

I took typing as a elective. For the girls. (Not that in a dorm based weekly living at the school WITH the girls... er well. let me rephrase that... anyhow.. I realised how bored I was with typing. Who needs this stuff come on etc. Multiply by a few hundred various whines.

Little did I know the future that was coming. Even typing in a big truck for satellite. (*THAT was AWESOME, no more phone calls ever.)

I also regret sort of that I failed to get into the computers, specifically the non apples. The State of Maryland filled our second floor lab with 50 Apple II's then IIC's then IIe's The state legislature spared no expense I have no idea the cost of each of those, but suffice to say it's beyond what most households in those days of the 70's and 80's had on hand.

The green chrome mono screens took decades to die. Businesses learned to hold on to them to prevent workers from installing games then. I learned to use the yellow font variant, rather than that green.

I did the report cards for the entire school. All grades K to 12 and about 300 souls including my grades. Once I identified my own grades by SSN I was able to broker a variety of goodies from others in exchange for teaching them what grades they will be getting. The staff had no clue. But they did supervise closely.

 

Im very happy you feel that strong loyalty to a good company. I feel the same towards those that contract to haul McKesson in Memphis. I repeat that out fit over and over again, but most people do not understand that with these high dollar loads and to paraphrase about 5000 bosses double checking your activity and that of the trailer (It had it's own qualcomm which had to be networked into the tractor upon hooking. That was a bit of a pain but necessary.) the absolute class, the finest equiptment the great people. I better stop writing before I hurt myself in joy or something over this...

 

Both holland and Great Plains run all 48 states. Hiring area would depend on which company a driver chooses.
