True enough,,,, perhaps I should have two categories the "Red K of death" and "Orange K of "now what."" Or the Orange K of "here we go again." Or for the owner ops and small carriers out there The general K of "how much will this cost."

I prefer the Carrier with the bright green light. Opened the doors to dock it, had previously turned the unit off to dock it to save as much of the cold air as possible but it still rose about 30 degrees. Next time I looked it was amber light with an alarm saying temperature was out of range for Intelliset. Clear alarm by pushing one button and it goes back to green and fixes itself.

Our fleet has bloody everything, as long as it isn't on its last leg, I'm happy. Just spent the last week with one of those carriers with the eight different lights. I still remember the first time I picked one up, I pulled into a rest area because I realised I didn't know which light was which (thought I had problems, it was just defrosting.)

If I picked a favorite it'd be the TK S-600. Though the new carriers we have been getting over the last year or so perform just as well.

Yes. I have found that when it gets above 11 degrees above set point it will go into alarm and even after clearing, until it gets back down it will go into alarm again. Most of what I pull, have to keep the reefer on in the dock, especially ice cream and the other day sour cream for Taco Bell. That temp could not go above a certain level and also had to run the whole time on continuous. The temp better not show going above 36 and there was a recorder in the box to make sure

    hahahahahahahah

One thing for sure, after pulling a van and waiting many times for a load, I am never waiting again and getting this 74% plus full FSC and large fuel discounts, I am not complaining. Discounts at times up to almost $.45 gallon and that is at Loves and up to $.25/gal at pilot
