Never used one....and May not ever still on the fence about retiring....but I promise you sure as I'm breathing b4 the mandate takes effect....there WILL be a dozen different override devices on the black mkt......hacking in to days world is a huge business....and where there is $$$$$ to be made....someone is going to make it....no different than any other illegal enterprise....what worries me still....is the robotic ways carriers will use them....many are all ready pushing drivers like robots....and following this nonsensical hos set up....it takes 11.75 hrs to run 11...10 off...pushed to go again....start time(especially if basically only driving)gets pushed back almost 2 hrs daily.....most/many people have an extremely hard time adjusting to this type of schedule.....I've been out here longer than most newer drivers I meet have been alive.....and it still tears me up if I don't keep some kind of consistency.....but starting lets say Monday at 6am....Tuesday at 4am....well you get the picture

But wouldn't the satellite ping kinda give it away?

Printers are NOT required.

 

It's no big deal if you know how to run it right you should only lose about $150 bucks a week over paper logs.
