Are you an owner op? If you are a company driver and you don't have an off-duty drive line, your Qualcomm logs on duty/driving and you have to start your reset over. My previous company would not remove the driving time even though it was just for personal use. Hopefully yours will be more flexible.

To use Off Duty Driving you still have to have positive time on your 14. If the clocks are showing a negative time balance it will put you in violation.

    I hate computers ....

Edit = > how do you reset under your 10 when you are sitting in the sleeper while logging off duty?

    This...

Go into your graph and check...for example on my elog if I am off duty for 4 hours...then I go to wally world...say that takes 30 minutes, my log switches from off duty, to off duty driving for that 30 minutes....when I set the breaks it goes back to off duty and resets the current off duty status to zero....however my break is uninteruppted...it would be exactly the same if you logged off duty, went to sleeper berth, then switched back to off duty.

Your elog may let you do it or not. It does not know if your doing it legal. Just because you can make it do it is no indication that its legal to do so. If you drove 11 or worked 14 you cannot use this to extend your hours. Again it does not matter if your elog will allow it. Its not intelligent enough to understand the laws if its programed wrong. It also doesn't know if you are in fact doing it legal. Its stupid in that way.

Good news, graph showed correct 10 reset, later this morning had starter issues with truck, was 20 minutes late on pickup, but customer was very accommodating since I called...got loaded, got to ellensberg, wa...and stuck on scales, more starter issues...got pulled off scales and think starter is bad, not sure, I will not turn the truck off until issue is solved....

I never use Off duty/driving to extend my hours. I'm talking about PC. You can PC after your 14 is up

If it was off duty drive, when you cut the key off it should have went to off duty. Each segment has its own time. So long as none of those segments are showing in driving or on duty, your break isn't interrupted.

That may be your company's policy. For those that allow personal conveyance you can be over on 11, 14 and 70. So long as you meet all the conditions required to do so. My company only allows company drivers 30 minutes per day maximum.
