Yeah he had another video a couple of days later where he was asked to go back to an old employer and run the mechanic shop.

He might come back, but making useless and narsisitic vids of himself on YouTube crying all the time, will guarantee him a place in the same spot he left the industry in......bottom of the barrel.

If people put the same amount of effort into their jobs as they did these stupid vlogs, there would be no need to occupy Wall Street.

People draw a great deal of pleasure and fulfillment from Vlogging. I know I do. It is a way to document my time on top of this planet for future generations. I tell stories with the videos that I cannot by writing a book or and article.

Some people do it as a sort of resume to further their career in 'show biz'. Some have masterful editing skills and will be noticed by those entities that will want to hire their talents. Others have great story telling and speaking skills which will also be noticed and appreciated by companies interested in fostering that talent. Still others have an investigative reporter instinct to get the camera into people's faces in such a way the subject is nearly oblivious to the cam and is completely candid in their demeanor.

Multimedia companies are always on the lookout for new talent. A driver with a particular talent I would absolutely encourage to pursue it and get discovered for that multimillion dollar payday. There's always trucking to fall back on and if worse come to worst, there's always wrenching LOL (just had to, no hate....)

Well said. Heck there are people living their dreams off of youtube. Some may have had money before they started but still. Ever check out the travel blogs?

That being said I would much rather see someone that had similiar views as I do make money off entertaining me. And YouTube makes that an option. You can tell a lot about someone by watching a blog.

I'm currently looking for a sponsor to set me up with a blinged out $2 million Prevost land yacht and a $50 million Gulfstream jet and a $100 million 110 foot blinged out powered sail boat so I can travel the world and Vlog.
