it'll be on a computer pretty sure it's 30 questions in which you need 24 right. you can skip questions but it will still be the same 30. once you get 24 right you win and the test is over

All kinds of everyday things, when transported in bulk, qualify as hazardous materials. Batteries, WD40 and brake cleaning fluid, household cleaners, and more. Probably half the stuff under your kitchen sink and in your garage or shed needed a placard. You're disqualifying yourself from a lot of work if you don't get that endorsement. And BTW you need the tanker endorsement to carry large liquid totes, and not just to be a tanker driver.

A few months ago I got back to my home center. A dock worker accidentally forked a 250 gallon tote. Tote was full of Dr Pepper concentrate. Basically Dr Pepper without carbonated water. Had to call a hazmat cleanup crew in. Dr pepper has phosphoric acid in it so at concentration its hazmat.

    Anything can be hazmat.

Yes. But you can see all the questions online for free. I use TruckerCountry.com. TheTruckersReport.com also has most of the tests for all of the endorsements.

Here is how to pass ANY endorsement test.

Always better to have & not need, than to need & not have. Especially when just simple tests.

Cannot necessarily forecast what options you may have in future.

You make yourself marketable/valuable to future opportunities.

Cool! Thanks! When I saw people saying it was a written test ( which was another reason I didn't want to take it, I hate writing lol ) I was like, what they got us doing essay now, reminded of my days taking the ACT and SAT LOL!!! For now, I'll get my Tanker and Double/Tripple, I'll do my HazMats as soon as I can.

    I think that's ########.

Just take the tests. They won't put hazmat on your permit, but it will go on your license after you get your TSA background check and fingerprints done.

Some states require permit test THEN background check, others are the opposite. Check with your local agency.
