Everyone quit SWIFT!!!!

Wow, if he is going to "Net" not gross $60k a year at swift maybe I should quit and go there.

I thought all those swift dedicated drivers on the WM account were feeding me B.S. when they said they made more than me.

 

Right now I average anywhere from $.53 to $.68 a mile at my job,depending on the load,distance,etc.

But at the same time I run my *** off! And typically I’m REQUESTED to go help out at Walmart DCs where we have accounts,because the personnel know I will run my *** off!!

At my previous employer they tried to start me out at $.26 a mile (this was back in 2014 mind you) but after threatening to quit they increased it to $.36. After 1 1/2 years when I put my notice in I was up to $.41 a mile.

 

What if two guys gross the same, but one guy has 100% company paid benefits with a zero deductible, and the other guy has to pay 15k yearly out of pocket in medical expenses?

 

That's almost the exact scenario I used as to why net cannot be compared.....

 

Kinda hard to compare gross also.
Lots of factors to consider.

 

While I do agree that comparing gross still does require one to take some other factors in consideration I simply cannot see anyway that net would be a more accurate way to compare.

It’s not an estimate. It’s exact! Big Maud at the fuel island grossed me out so bad, I didn’t feel like biting anyone for EXACTLY 2 days.

 

What factors? Gross is gross.
