F.O.R.D.

I used to have a 16hp Ford garden tractor and a 91 f150 ...both were good machines .

 

I had an '88 F250 with a 351 and a 4 spd auto. When I bought it, it hadn't ran in years. I towed it home, got it running and restored it completely. Truck ran phenomenal! Only thing was, I flared one of the rear brake lines poorly and the flare cracked right at the wheel cylinder while I was driving it into my parents driveway. When I hit the brakes there was nothing there and I crashed it right into the side of my parents house lol knocked a big hole in the garage wall. Still ran though!

 

Say what you will, my 7.3 powerstroke hasnt let me down yet, more power than i need in a pickup and its a 2002 auto. Makes 19 mpg empty or loaded with 4k and doesnt change unless i add a trailer, then it might drop all the way to high 15s

Its downside is that its rear wheel drive only and not got great tires for anything other than pavement, but thats just me being cheap

 

Ford mowers and lawn tractors are the real deal. They made them up til the time they sold off the farm equipment division to New Holland.

 

Ford, Chevy...I don't care....I just like watching them fight.
