I'm enrolled in a CC CDL course that starts in two weeks. I've been doing a lot of reading here and elsewhere to get as much of a base knowledge as I can. On a whim I started checking some potential carriers pages on FB. Some were better than others, and some notably had good interactions with home base and drivers on the road.
But I had to facepalm at how many applicants AND employees used their company's FB page to complain. So here's my tip to anyone seeking a job in any field anywhere: DON'T POST ANYTHING STUPID ON YOUR EMPLOYER'S FACEBOOK PAGE!
That is all.

more and more companies are looking at YOUR facebook page also so don't post anything stuped on it

This is why my Facebook is locked up tighter than fortknox.awbro and road_runner Thank this.

I actually have a very positive opinion of my carrier, so when they post some kind of message, I tend to post things to bolster/support their message.

Make it 100% private and your fine. My facebook isn't even searchable, can't add me or message me. If I don't personally know you, you don't get added

That's good advice, doesn't take long for a recruiter to google you and whoopsy daisy, there you are with your pants around your ankles on FB trying to light your fart with a Jaeger bottle in the other hand.

I don't even know you...how'd you know that???Treefork Thanks this.
