I think Dot foods here in Indiana is doing that , I think they pay for Sage school and pay you $500 a week to go to school and then $500 a week while you are training with another driver.

I passed on my 7th time. If I can pass, you can. I am a horrible test taker.

I do ltl and bump a lot of docks every day. Most days I can thread a needle but I still have days where I wonder why I'm 3 foot off a wide open dock, maybe you had one of those days. Setup is key and only practice will improve your backing.

Keep practicing till you could do it in your sleep and as most others would comment try and remain as calm as possible if you know you can do it (reverse) why are you nervous for? The testers are just human beings just like you so be yourself. think about if you can't pass a simple reverse test how are you going to get on if you get to a truck stop and try and reverse park with hundreds of drivers looking at you?

Backing is a difficult skill to learn for some people........like you, in the beginning my skill level would come and go and let my anxiety get the best of me, I looked like I had no idea what I was doing. If you stick at it you will become very proficient in no time. I think nerves are getting the best to of you. Years down the road, I actually sought out a job that required tons of backing in very tight confined areas and now I don't think there is no hole I cant put that trailer in..........but at your stage in the game everything looked like challenge. Just slow down and process each move......you can do it.

P.S. I learned alot from watching others

Had many people have to re-take the exam when I went to school. They were mostly good drivers. Some even had second or third failures. This is normal. You are not exceptional.

That depends on the school, and the DMV. The school I attend it is unlimited, but DMV will is limited to 3 tests per application, and my DMV charges $33 for each retest.
