UPS interviews are an hour long.they make it sound like you have a good chance getting hired then a week later u get that dreadful email saying they found someone more qualified but we will keep your application for ninety days.
Fall down. Go bam.

UPS is the exception in almost every category.Criminey Jade Thanks this.
-
ups is picky maybe a tad bit too picky.if they cut the drivers some slack they could find the seasonal drivers they so desperately need.I gave up on trying places like that.not worth my time only to get turned down.I actually dont miss driving anymore.too much bs is what I'm seeing starting with filling out the application.Criminey Jade Thanks this.

The speaking portion of things was maybe 35 minutes. They had me fill out a burger-flipper form and a personality assessment (how angry do you get kinds of questions) before the interview, though.
-
Personality assessment? Some of these big companies are getting ridiculous.
-
They were just all self-entitlement and road rage questions. Just answer like you're not a perpetually angry me-firster.
-
Sounds more like an intelligence test to me. Im not a "perpetual angry me-firster" but if i were, id sure as hell know how to lie myself through a test on that.Mudguppy and Criminey Jade Thank this.

Who was the company, if you don't mind my asking?
-
One dude was running a refresher course with me,the tester told him it wasnt necessary,to downshift all gears, coming to a stop.
He says cool, then proceeds to coast coming off the highway, speeds through school zones, and hit a curb..he got hired.. -
Hahaha! I need that kind of luck. Maybe I'm going in too conservative.
