    @Chinatown thread in this section about diabetes/meat has really good informed responses by other members.

    The documentary I am linking here is the most well done, in depth, informative one that I have ever seen.

    Cutting on sugar is the best advice for the trucking population. Especially cutting on those sugary foods that are nutritionally barren. It's OK to eat a banana or mango for micronutrients, vitamins and fiber but a hot chocolate with a donut is not much more than poison.

    I disagree on the fruits, Yes, fruits have sugar in them, BUT it’s Natural Sugar. Those can be eaten moderately. I’ll take an apple for an example instead of a candy bar, chips, or any other junk.

    Yeah, an apple is a much better choice than junk food. I probably should have left that post out since Dr. Berry is a carnivore lifestyle advocate.

    People that have diabetes or are pre-diabetic have to really watch even the natural sugar content of fruits as well. Thanks for the reply.
