I just started back with FCC after spending a bit of Spring, all Summer, and the first couple snowstorms up in Alaska. I am in 1454 until they get some more trucks in. Not a bad truck..... but never having driven the newer generation of Cascadia.... the bells and whistles are a bit annoying . If I ever get into slick conditions and need to chain this up, the buzzer for the power divider is going to drive me NUTS.

The truck I bought has none of those bells and whistles which I like more than when I used the company truck. I prefer to gauge my distance myself vs the truck slamming the brakes on.

Most companies usually before the truck shortage would run the truck until the warranty was almost up, but now the companies are running them past the warranty because they can't hardly get trucks in.

Welcome to being owner operator, run it like a business and put money away for maintenance and taxes and always expect the unexpected to happen.

I’m not itching for a new truck since I really like this one. Just wanted some idea of when I can expect to get a call to change trucks.

    Yes sir.

Another note is the idle shut down on this I need turned off. Liking the brown/black with wood trim.

Well..... just got an update, I knew yesterday they'd found a leak at the back of the engine, so they had the transmission removed and flywheel out. Was hoping it'd be put back together this morning so it could go to freightliner. Well... now their saying the friction plates on my clutch are worn and they suggest replacing!! WTF?!!! I don't even use the clutch!!... but they've already got it torn apart, so labor will be covered by warranty, I just have to pay for the clutch. I'd be stupid not to do it now... so.. looks like I'll extend the hotel another day, ugh!!
