It’s easy. They’ll probably have you drop your trailer in a dock on the west side of the building. I’ve grabbed loaded trailers out of there or I’ve loaded at Pepsi in STL.

that’s what local authorities are worried about. 23 is a narrow (comparatively speaking) road with zero shoulder, as well as being pretty hilly

    IH9300SBA Thanks this.

Also, I would love a Volvo, but i’m not sure i could deal with losing all the fridge and freezer space my Freightliner has. For some reason, FCC install’s full size mini fridges in their Cascadia’s but every other make only gets the factory fridge. It’s crazy how manufacturers seem to think a tiny fridge and virtually no freezer is acceptable for a sleeper truck

I’m also delivering near STL, at least i will be once they get this load of carpet finished. It’s going to the Menards DC in Sullivan, MO. First time that i’m delivering anywhere near St. Louis

    IH9300SBA Thanks this.

you can blame the oversize that hit that bridge going over 70. They have to tear it down because it’s structurally compromised. I wonder if KDOT will bill the company that hit the bridge

IH9300SBA and Adolph Coors Thank this.

Kansas is fine. It’s the flip flop wearers that require a 12ft lane that will be the issue.

    IH9300SBA and drvrtech77 Thank this.

You don’t know how good you have it with these modern conveniences in
Modern trucks. There are still a lot of companies who don’t spec there trucks with fridges, inverters, and APUs. Be thankful FCC specs their trucks this way.

Dropped in Topeka, grabbed a Lawrence paper load, was told don’t be in a rush to get up to Fremont tomorrow freight is slow in Nebraska.

Well that changed quickly, sent me a load from Aurora to Los Lunas.
