Neither storm affected me, my brother on the other hand lives North of Tampa on the Gulf, he got 3 ft of water from Helene, and evacuated again from this storm, probably will get more damage from this storm.

Prayers that he and that whole community recovers quickly.

I saw a whole bunch of Journeyman/Linemen and their bucket trucks rolling South to Pre Stage for outages.

    runningman0661 and rokue Thank this.

Delivered my load of metal roofing this morning in Ennis TX. Luckily the loves in Alma was only 4 mins away. 3 tarps, 20 straps, and 30 pallets later. I’m in and out in 1h1m

Shuffle down to Diboll TX for my next load (which was preplanned) of particle board going back to Omaha. Get in there, back in, get swarmed by 3 fork lifts. Total loading time, 2 mins. In and out of there in 57min.

The live load gods shined down today. Now only if I can get to Omaha before receiving ends at 3p tomorrow. I’m projecting 2:15p if I have no issues. Load isn’t due until Monday but has a window.

Dropped in Columbus and made it to the yard with 10 minutes to spare on my 70. There’s so many trailers sitting around here in Fremont it’s ridiculous. My truck is at Freightliner in Omaha so i’ll go down with the company van tomorrow to grab some other stuff that i couldn’t fit in my duffel bag. After my 34 is up Saturday morning, I will swing down to Crete for a load to Alabama.
