FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

Shut down in Gretna after spending an hour and change to go 35 miles. Bad thing is probably 10 miles of that is detours around wrecks so I haven’t made hardly any progress. I told my DM I could probably get it to North Platte today but it would take all day and the risk/reward ratio was bad.

 

It wasn’t too bad after I got back to 80 (144th street I think ) until I jumped off at the J. 40-45 was doable in 2/3 lanes (the far left is covered in wavy snow).

 

Mine usually cuts off at 4.999

 

i’m in the same situation. I’m hanging around the Lincoln drop yard and seriously contemplating just turning around and going home. Roads look like they’re not getting any better anytime soon. I almost slid off once and don’t want to repeat that. My truck is parked safe in the yard with the block heater plugged in. I have a load assigned to me but it can easily be assigned to someone else

The roads were okay until i got near Lincoln then all of a sudden everything just went to hell

Just stopped at Stuart IA to stretch the legs. Once I got through Omaha/CB area I’ve been on dry roads. Appears Iowa didn’t slop brine down.

 

I have spectated on a few different threads of THAT driver.... I have learned to take all of his griping with a PILE of salt... I realized that he was likely the problem in all of his issues.
