I think I'll hit the time limit for the warranty before I hit the mileage limit. It was put into service in June of '22 and it only has 265k on it...
I think the warranty is 4 yrs/500k...which means the warranty will time out before 400k, let alone 500k

Been a heckuva couple days. Got empty in Goodlettsville Monday. My DM had forgotten about the trailer needing repair so they put a load on me that they had to take off. 3 1/2 hours later the door seal was partially replaced and I was turned loose. By then it was late afternoon and the expectation was there’d be no freight until the morning . I was headed to a truckstop (there’s no space at the little shop I was at to hang out) and a load came in. Got to the delightful Love’s in Nashville and got everything written down and entered in then fought Nashville rush hour traffic out of town. Picked up at Revolution in Shelbyville, Tennessee. Small place but super quick and nice.
It was a classic Cheap, Heavy, and Late CH Robinson load so had to run way harder than I care for to get it there. Got there and it took a moment to find the place. Should have taken a picture. If you ever go to Clear Film printing in Scurry, Texas it’s in a little lot off highway 34 a few miles south of Scurry with a big metal arch over the entrance. The lot has a bunch of an abandoned farm equipment in it and a tan and a gray building and a sign for “Quality Liquid Feeds”, you want the gray building. There’s no dock you have to angle for the covered patio at the back of the building and they do the pallet jack shuffle to get them to the back.
Anyway the next load was planned to pick up between 9PM and Midnight which wasn’t going to work since I delivered at 4 with 3 hours left on my 14 and the little split burned so I asked if I could pick it up between 5 and 6 the next morning. They said okay so we went with that plan.
It was a little exciting getting to the next place, I had the GPS pointed to the right entrance but it decided that the way to do that was to go through the warehouse from the other end, got out of that and got around to the right end about 4:40 and the guard told me they close from 04:00 to 06:00. So I got to sit. By the time I got out of there are got the load scaled it was almost 7 so I had to fight traffic all the way across Dallas. Ran the recommended route 75 to 69 to 44 and 49 and it blew chunks. Did have one bit of ‘better lucky than good’
Roll in to Chewy in Belton after fighting my way through one of the most misbegotten roundabouts in annals of bad traffic engineering. Check in and out fairly quickly but then the spot I am dropping in is occupied by a Knight driver doing his pretrip (playing on his phone), after he ran out 15 minutes he hooked up and pulled out without giving the trailer a second glance.
Got mine dropped and found my empty. It had the seals from the last 3 loads in the back and a special surprise.
Made it to the KC yard and the last of the TP in the porta john came off in my hand.
I was due home yesterday, my load home still isn’t ready. So I’m chilling in the ACT lot.hotrod1653, motocross25, Long FLD and 3 others Thank this. -
Forgot to mention in my wall of text my DM decided this morning I wasn’t going to be able to run the trailer over for repair so I handed it off to a shag guy (I cleaned it last night).
Friend, hope not dumb twucker and Knucklehead Thank this. -
I was just unassigned from my load home so we’ll see what the plan is next.

Unless something's happened in the last couple years, I had no problem with 69 - minus the occasional construction slowdown.

Ran to Goodlettsville for Tuesday morning 0900 and two of us arrived at the very same time. Both were pulling Sue Bee Trailers. Turned out to be Brenda driving the other one. She was one of the very first FCC Drivers I had the pleasure of meeting. (Other than former Green Truck drivers of course) so I got to catch up with her and which cruises she has been on lately.
Then ran a Costco Load up to MN for 0530 this morning. Boy it’s nice to swing into some DCs. Checked in, parked for a few before the “your table is ready” buzzer when off. Bumped the dock and unloaded quickly.
Sitting in Ft Dodge now. Load was confused. It was in the system but not expected to be loaded. Something went sideways. So I dropped the trailer for LL and BT to lunch.
if you ever find yourself BT in Ft Dodge, check out Mineral City Mill & Grill, down the street. Not cheap but good menu options and the Smoked Iowa Pork chop is pretty good. Usually enough parking in the back of their lot to park a BT.
Heading back to grab the load here after lunch and head to Lincoln then CB for RTO this weekend in Lincoln.

@DonRobbie you now you’re having a bad day when the TP in the porta potty runs out. Pro tip, any time I go into a porta potty I take a handful of wet wipes with me just in case.
hope not dumb twucker, Friend, motocross25 and 4 others Thank this. -
