FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

haven't even driven it and it's already in the shop and has been for some time. You'd never guess what wasn't working properly on it

 

Don't you hate it when you get some sweet loads for the weekend and then a shipper royally screws up and dispatch has to scramble to find you new loads

 

Let's play catchup from wherever I may have left off.

Delivered in Giddings on Tuesday. Picked up stone from Florence TX that day, and delivered next day in Roca NE. From there went to Fremont for my 300k service.

While there. Held court with @cdavis188 and a few other drivers.

Next load was forecasted to me sometime Wednesday, which was destined to be my go home load. Coincidentally CDs photo of the freightliner had my load pictured in the background.

The load is a 3 stopper; Olathe, KCMO, Murfreesboro TN. Friday/Friday/Monday.

The issue was the miles didn't math for me, so I asked to do some local work yesterday after my truck got wrapped up from service.

Went Fremont-LT-Fremont-Kaw-CB-Kaw-LT-Fremont


Which brings us to now. Olathe and KCMO stops are complete.

Over on Kasper. A few times. Usually 1300 appointment (at least in my case) I get there 12-1230. Park in driveway, walk to the door. There's a phone number listed and call to check in. Sometimes, at that hour, people are outside taking break and will intercept you and tell you what door.
