Been thinking about turning on the SXM Radio in my Truck too. I stream quite a bit via cellular but might be nice to have this on too.

 

I use the SXM app. Lots more channels to choose from.

 

My 64 year old thinking is going to come into play hear. Go easy on me. With the app, do you play it off your phone through the truck stereo?

 

Yes... can either connect phone to radio via wire to the front aux or wirelessly via Bluetooth.

That and Volvo trucks are junk, electrical nightmares, air leaks and engines are just #### after about 300k. Couldn’t give one of those junkers. I was s shop foreman for a company that had 350 of those POS only good thing is when they burn up

 

Phase one complete, APP on my phone. Can I eliminate my head unit that’s stuck to my windshield now?

How are you connecting your phone to your truck? Bluetooth or USB?

 

Just wait until they grow some more...then it'll be "can you help me with my therotical calculus, I am having a problem with....(this is when my eyes glazed over so I didn't hear the rest)'

 

USB. When I listen to my music I have downloaded, I hook it up via USB.
