I hate how I become a Prime truck doing 60-62 and impeding traffic while in California

I always aim to be passed by half of the other trucks, while passing half.

I took the route you suggested this morning. Much more smoother. Climbing out of Bullhead City wasn't too bad, though I only have 21k in the box. Chugged up the mountain doing 45-50.

I took the section from Seligman to Ash Fork and honestly it's nothing to write home about. Not a great road but not a terrible one either.

Dropped in Four Oaks Monday morning, bounced over to Henderson to grab a load going to Belton, Mo., it was still being loaded when I arrived, but within a few minutes of arriving there got the green light.

I swapped that load with another driver this morning in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. I will deliver that load tomorrow in Columbia. Props to my DM for getting me routed towards the house.
I have a VA appointment Thursday for my yearly physical and to get my bloodwork results. On Friday the wife and I will head to Nashville for a four day long weekend. For Christmas I bought her tickets to see Luke Combs, so that takes place Saturday night. When we were younger we would close the bars down and then hit the after hours bars. We will probably be back at the hotel by 9:00 and ready for bed, sucks getting old.

@runningman0661 try to make the music row happy hour at margaritaville on friday if you’re in town on time, it’s a pretty good time and broadcast live on the highway on Sirius. Safe travels.

Yeah between Seligman and Ash Fork isn't the best, but the stretch West of Seligman Eastbound is BAD. There are a few places climbing through there that will make you question your life choices that lead to your being there.

    BigR and JohnBoy Thank this.

Dealing with that stretch of road every week makes me wonder if and when I’ll need an alignment, replaced shocks or a new truck period. These plastic throwaway trucks can’t handle such high intensity jarring.

I just got new steer tires, alignment, front shocks, and spring bushings replaced. Makes me cringe hearing that lol
