Every two months for trailers...every 6 weeks is more preferable though.

Every 8,000 miles for tractors. Most of the services between the B service is just a grease job unless you have concerns with the truck.

    Also welcome to FCC!

After having driven on I-25 pretty consistently, and dealing with 183/121 in DFW, I’ve learned some insane patience. Haha.

Talked to the main man himself who oversees all trailer maintenance and he said he prefers 6 weeks for service on trailers, and to text/call him personally, or reach out to night/weekend dispatch to CYA but call him ASAP when he is within his working hours, and he will find a way to get you in or get that trailer in.

In every arm of this operating unit you can see constant professionalism and dedication to the work and it’s refreshing, there is an extreme calm and consistency in the culture and honestly, it can unnerve you to an extent because you’re looking for the problems.

I think most of us are prepared right off the bat to deal with Issue A or Issue B, XYC etc, we read what everyone else deals with so it must be like that everywhere but what FCC does is inherently set standards above and beyond expectations for shippers, drivers and consistently deliver.

As I reflect on my day and I think about how every person who keeps the gears turning at this company came to talk to me, meet me personally, shake my hand and give me their business card, it kinda speaks to my trucker soul because I feel involved and I truly feel like a professional and I felt a bit of pride, maybe some older guys wouldn’t feel the same I’m not sure but I know for me, I worked at an LTL that had the highest top pay in the entire industry hands down, the journey I’ve started with FCC will take some de-conditioning to pull away from the LTL mindset, pay never mattered to me, it was culture.

Fun fact, I had absolutely no idea what I was going to get paid, in any respect, when I committed to this job.

I drove 700 miles not even knowing CPM, Task, Det, nothing, to get to orientation.

I drove next to FCC enough, read about them enough, and listened to you guys talk enough, pay doesn’t touch base on everything else this company has to offer, I just knew this was the company to be apart of.

sorry for the long post, haha.

Columbus needs a tunnel or bridge if you're just passing through.

Rolled out of the house Monday, picked up in Anderson, Sc going to Sam’s in Council Bluffs. Currently in a door getting unloaded, from here I will pick up a loaded trailer at the yard going back to, you guessed it Columbia, Sc.

I asked Joe yesterday if I some how I got on a dedicated run and someone failed to mention it to me. He said “nope just they way things have been working out.” Some people would love a dedicated lane, not me, I like variety.

@Kaida-LTL glad to hear FCC made a good first impression. They are a first class organization in my humble opinion.

Kaida-LTL, BigR, cdavis188 and 2 others Thank this.

That's how I felt when most of my outbound loads were from KCMO out to Victorville. Like I got put on a dedicated run without anyone telling me. I must've went out to California at least half a dozen times my first three months.
