the ceo's have power to help uplift everyone aswell. they are not entirely at the mercy of the economy. it's not easy task, but it can be done.

Debt is a burden on an economy. Cheap money flowing into the economy is like an upper and when inflation hits because of it, raising interest rates is like withdrawal. The economy isn't healthy, just constantly manipulated.

These big companies shouldn’t be the ones we listen to for advice
I think if a big company starts losing freight that some might be to a slow down but some might just be that when it’s busy the shipper will use whoever will get it done
But when it slows then that same shipper now has a choice and might just switch to a smaller carrier

Ron Paul pointed that out years ago at some house sub-committee meeting/hearing.
Pretty sure it was Bernanke at the hearing, and he was refusing to disclose how much money the fed was printing at the time.

That's not really recession-related, FedEx Freight is more profitable than ever right now. Closing those locations was more of an accounting decision than anything else. They're mostly small service centers in rural areas that can be serviced from other locations.

I knew we were screwed when the dollar tree went from $1 to $1.25

surprised a big company like fedex didn’t figure that out years ago.

Cooper uses drop yards in rural Texas. The drive times are simply too long to service from Waco, Laredo, or weslaco.

Easier to rent a gated parking lot, and have the trailers loaded by a sister terminal dropped off via Linehaul.
