This is an old post and I’d never read this reply. After leaving OTR team driving I started doing port work. I’ve been doing that for ten years. A lot of people hate it (I despised it at first), but once you get the hang of it, it is the easiest job in trucking. I drive an average of about 50 miles a day and make a decent hourly wage.
