Felt sorry for this trooper

I'd have been doing the same thing! It's just disgusting the way some people drive.

 

1.) Amazing that officer could take a hit like that and still keep his orientation enough to stagger AWAY from the road.

2.) xxpigxx, not to be harsh, but what about ticketing/arresting the guy that nearly hit you? Didn't the woman want to file damage charges against the other driver for her broken mirror? I wish cops would take the reckless drivers off the road more.

 

when you almost die . . . some things are not so important. Plus, you learn that karma is usually in full swing

I wrote up an accident report later in the day. The lady came in to sign it so her insurance could take care of it. Filed it as a hit and run. Another driver called in the day after the accident, gave us the plate numbers. Ran them. Tracked the car down . . .

It was all taken care of. Karma is cool
