Fender mirrors

    Indeed. On our Century the last one we had in 2001, it featured round mirrors forward near the bumper line ahead of the steers on fender. Clocks me in the head now and then. But many a time they were the only ones functioning in winter run. That would be quite enough.

    Honestly, I never use my fender mirrors for bumper clearance. I use them to clear my blind spots better.

    Specifically, fender mirrors give me a different angle to check when scanning blind spots, merging, or yielding on a curve. Texas frontage road interstate exits, for example.

    If you run heavy traffic like here in Los Angeles the Hood mirrors are real nice to have, granted ugly as sin, but in traffic they help you see the car under your passenger door.

    I agree they look horrible, but I would not own a truck without them. Greatly reduces blind spots,
