Every time I’ve tried saving a couple bucks over TK on aftermarket I wind up just paying TK a couple weeks later,
just turned 600 hours on the new one so have not had to deal with carrier yet
check dates on tires and a good look at air bags, might just want to bite a bullet now if you are planning on using this weekly for the foreseeable future
Don’t forget the dock walk bag if it has one
Finally going to use my reefer. Need your input.

I think I'll run power only for 2 or 3 weeks to replenish the maintenance account then. I dug into almost all of it with some preventive repairs I made on the front suspension, aluminum rims and a steer, along with the complete a/c replacement. I don't want to use credit to address the potential problems you guys are pointing out. Hopefully nothing too drastic needs to be done.

Yeah, I've used REPOWR before. I use them when I want to use a trailer for a month or so, or if there are no load-outs available in the area I'm in. I've gotten dry vans as cheap as $5 a day for a whole month. There are a LOT of load-outs around my area. I think I'll schlep over to the inland empire with a load and grab a power only from there. The rates are pretty high over here at the moment.Siinman, Judge and hope not dumb twucker Thank this.

I would use a carrier dealer because they have access to parts that others may not be able to get.Midwest Trucker, Siinman and gekko1323 Thank this.

I’d let it run for atleast a day at -10 and then take it to a dealer to be checked out. All great advice on this thread and checking the trailer itself too.
