Got an interview today. He asked me questions off a computer and said it’s standard procedure. I applied for a Road Driver Apprenticeship. I have straight truck experince with the state but no class a experience. The whole process took 45 mins. 10 questions regarding situations at past jobs and how I handled them. He said he has a few more applicants comming in for an interview and he will contact me within next few weeks if I’m hired or not. I will admit it just didn’t seem promising but i’m maybe just being negative. I’ll update with information as it comes in to help others.

Grab a number for their safety division, and I'll personally send you $10.

has to be a legit number, to Sammy Safety Supervisor.

cant be any worse then working for the nys thruway. Driving 40-50 mph down a skinny shoulder riddled with uneven blacktop and potholes in a dual axle dump from job to job with soft clay to the right of you and 80mph semis to the left with mirrors that vibrate so much you cant see around you lol.. all for 16 an hour!

Good luck, stay positive from what ive seen most centers are short handed. And management has a lot on their plate.

The hiring process is long and drawn out, but its well worth the wait. I was #### near ready to give up because it took so long. Even after the i accepted the offer letter is took 2.5 months to start. Just hang in there

The problem is i’m passing up other jobs as I wait. Had to wait a month after my last application to get my denial email. I cant stand this job anymore. The lifers are making 1300 every two weeks.. what a joke
