After all this time driving and only the second time ever I went over on my 11 hours of driving time. Road construction backup got me. I was 3 miles from the terminal when I went over. First time was paper logs so no big deal. I called my bosses boss to warn them that they will be getting a call or email from corporate about it. It’s just that I don’t want to stay in a truck stop when I am that close to home and don’t have to. There is zero leeway anymore.

10-2, 10-4. ANY TRIP when I was "out of hours" within 100 or less miles of Base, I went to Base.
A 10 hour break for 100 or less miles, to I (as well other Drivers), wasn't Logical.

Once with a local carrier, of course on E.L.D., had a rather L-O-N-G Day (with a 2 hour ONDUTY backup due to wreck traffic on an Interstate) and as a result, ran out of Drive Time about 80 miles from Base.
    Kept going.
Seemed the "system" invoked the "Inclement Weather" 2 hour addon. Trip Loop: 0600 - 2200 PLUS another 45 minutes at Base entering Information, so end at 2300.

I think that was a whole purpose of ELD implementation - to make sure drivers couldn't get a second ELD! ;):(

That someone will better come here and share his know-how;).
PS. I know a trick or two but that wouldn't be legal to share.:D

I see you got the autonomous management module installed before the autonomous driving one.

Sounds like you would just log you were stuck in construction and that is legal to go over your 11 hours since it was not something you can predict ahead of time. I think they give drivers 2 extra hours to go over and find first safe place to park on the 11 and 14 hour clock
