I drive for swift and have a truck with no idle shut down, i idle almost 24/7 every once in awhile my driver manager will call me up and tell me to stop idling so much
The Clean Idle stickers on the trucks are for idling in California specifically. That's why the outline of Cali is on the sticker. And while some jurisdictions may honor it at lot more do not. New Jersey and New York being good examples of the do not states.
And yet... Was in the Vince Lombardi in NJ just recently, the nice huge "no idling" signs everywhere.... And the entire yard was filled with rumbling engines all night long. Seen the same in the past at the FJ down at Carneys Point by the Delaware Bridge, but that's private property so maybe they don't enforce there compared to state property. Hardly any of them at the Vince Lombardi were APU. Anyone got a line on how hard they actually enforce this nonsense? B/c it sure seems like they don't actually give two craps about it.
#### them peices of #### only care about their fuel now if you have an apu and anit using it then yea your fault
