Say you scratched the paint on the bumper and have a photo of it. There was no damage other than scratched paint.

A few scratches in the paint on the bumper is nothing to worry about.

Don't say anything unless asked. If asked, answer the exact question asked. Don't volunteer details unless they ask.

Wow. Just wow. Swift has a reputation for being petty, but this takes the cake. You did not deserve to be fired. Yeah, you made a rookie mistake, but hey! You're a rookie and they knew that when they hired you.

I'm gonna trust this was a "God thing" and you will find something much better as a result.

    Opus and Zeldaofeden Thank this.

Swift did you a favor. You'll find something better. Just learn from this mistake and move on to greener pastures.

Should send straight to tanker school.
Used to if you were tankers they wouldn’t let you pull a van.
I was stuck in Gary, In and they were talking they had a van load on yard needing delivered, I told them I’d do it, they wouldn’t let me because I was tanker division, Kind of a downfall because Vans are a ton easier than tanks and i’ve pulled either, but you have to go through a “Master” class and i don’t know how long you got to be there to qualify, but I sat 5 days in Gary with nothing to do, with loads going out, tank and van because i had to young dbl that wouldn’t do his job.
I quit because of him, he’s still there, calls about every 6-7 months wanting to know if i want to go back.

Pull your driver reports and see how Swift is reporting it. If they put that you were fired because of the incident itself, there's probably not much you can do. If they put that it was because of a policy violation because you waited to report it, I might would consider disputing it. Explain that you weren't in a place to report it immediately. Tell them that you were on private property and were required to leave. You reported it as soon as you arrived at a place with parking and could safely do so. The reporting agencies will then notify Swift that you are disputing what they're saying. There's a chance Swift will either decline to counter your dispute or not respond at all, in which case it will be removed from your reports. It's worth a shot.

There are multiple reporting agencies, but the two big ones I know about are Hireright (DAC) and Cisive (Driver iQ).

the fiberglass is actually cracked, and the headlight lens is scraped up as well....

looks like a new truck too.

just a paint job would not have covered it for him to get on by.
