Usually they give you 21 days no payments and everything you find wrong with the truck during that 21 shake down period is covered by the motor carrier.

Drivers considering leasing a truck should not sign unless they have 90 days minimum worth of money to pay their bills first. Then use that 21 days as an honest to goodness shake down period and have it in the shops getting checked for everything, including dyno.

most won't.... fixed cost run at about $1,000 a week (tel is more) and at a $1.00 a mile plus fsc you need to run about 1,500 miles (fixed cost plus fuel for 1,500 miles) before you start to make any money.
