First time that I'm overweight on drives and tandems

Slide your 5th wheel forward. The 20 pounds on the trailer isn’t anything to worry about.

 

Run it.

 

I'd run it. That's not terrible. If you have a full tank of fuel, you'll burn off some of the weight on your drives. You get 8 lbs to the gallon....do some math. Just don't fill up til you have no scales to clear. 20 lbs over on your trailer axles, you live with that.

 

If u have an apu you could use that exemption plus burning off fuel. Or slide the 5th wheel.

 

I would run it.

 

Ok. Should still slide the 5th wheel ahead at some point since they can’t even scale 80k.

 

60 gallons less of fuel and you’re legal.

Aside from that - I’d run it.

 

you always that light on the steers??
