First truck purchase

    Long time lurker here I'm in the market for my first truck and I was looking through some of the photos and noticed the engine is warm but the oil pressure looks awful low 2014 t660 mx13 455 motor has 190k on it truck 661k

    I don't know about mx.

    The isx I'm driving now also idles at 20. Runs at 40.

    Does that truck have all the emission stuff still on it ?
    Cause repairing and replacing all of it is going to be expensive and a lot of downtime .

    Yes it does I plan to have them hook it up to Davie and look at the system....filter...system pressure....waiting to hear back if anything in that system has been repaired

    That’s why you fast idle it.
    800 RPM has this ISX from 22ish to 35psi at idle.

    Paperwork on the engine rebuild or it didn't happen. Also order a Rig Dig report, get a dyno run, oil analysis on all the fluids and an ecm dump. Yes it cost some money but can save you from buying a turd

    Not really. My truck hasn't been down for anything related to emissions in the 3.5 years I've had it. DPF cleaning $500 (one time), one sensor a couple hundred bucks. Makes it up and then some in efficiency.

    mine jumps to 25 at 800.
