Question. After displaying 7’ oversized load banners front and back, does a permitted OD load that is only long-not wide, still require red flags on the sides of the tractor and trailer? Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, Georgia.

And your strobe lights have to flash in sequence to the song Dixie Land. It should be in the OS/OW provisions for those states.

I'd just wait till this snow and ice hits the next couple days and move it then... Save your cash not getting a permit because the scales will be closed.
IluvCATS Thanks this. -
You want to flag your long load?

In California, red flag anything over 3 feet and beyond, long as it ain’t longer then 2/3 of your wheel base. This is on the over hang of the rear. If not OD ..... no flags required on the corners.
PoleCrusher and IluvCATS Thank this. -
Quit digging in my sand box kitty.
Flag 4 corners always - TN rotating strobe on rear of load at night.
Better be $7/mile plus, or we’re having a cat fight in the back yard.PoleCrusher, Heavy Hammer, Sirscrapntruckalot and 7 others Thank this.
